Do the thing and you’ll get the power, don’t wait for the motivation to hit you

Cesar makes it clear; stop waiting for the motivation before you go and do the activity. Because if you wait on the motivation it might never come. Instead, you need to go ahead and simply work to GET the motivation. Of course you want the drive to do the things needed to build your MLM business, but it often works in reverse – you need to do the thing FIRST in order to get the power.

When Cesar was lacking drive his sponsor would tell him to get out there and prospect. Because if you can’t then you MUST! He would go out there feeling down and lacking energy, but would just start talking to people. At first it would be difficult, but then he would start talking to someone who was interested and then he would get that rejuvenation and excitement coming back.

From just simply doing the activity you will feel so much better about yourself. So get out there, start talking to people and get prospecting! See who’s open to your opportunity. But the key is to end on a positive response. Even if you’ve had 3-4 positive, interested, conversations, and collected contact information, don’t go home until you finish on a positive note.
