The 9 Lies Keeping You From Network Marketing Success

Melanie Milletics has been a home business entrepreneur and successful network marketing trainer for more than a decade. Her regular coaching podcast was always full of valuable tips and insights, but Melanie had been absent for a little while.

Luckily for the home business community she is back, and on fine form. In her latest podcast Melanie discusses the top 9 lies that network marketers tell themselves which keep them from achieving the success they should be enjoying. This is an excellent training which will help shine a light on some of the areas keeping you stuck.

1) I have already built the business

Maybe you have been building the business for a while and have come to the conclusion that you can sit back now and enjoy the fruits of your labor?

Wrong, according to Milletics, “network marketing requires work.  And it’s the same work month in month out, it’s the same task repeated over and over again.”

2) I’m working soooo hard

You may also think and you might keep on saying that you are working so hard but it would seem that your hard work is not paying off because you are not seeing the results that you want to see. According to Milletics, ask yourself if you are working intelligently hard. You might be doing all of these things but they are not the work required in the kind of business you are in, and you are just lying to yourself.

3) Everyone in my market already knows about my company

you have, which is why you are not successful. That is just another lie you might be telling yourself., Does your next door neighbor know about it? Why don’t you try knocking on her door and ask her?

4) I just don’t know what to do

Where as those “other successful people”, they just know what to do and what to say to people. But this is not true.

“None of us have been born as network marketers. All of us must learn what must be done. But the bottom line is what must be done is a whole lot easier than you are probably telling yourself it is.”

It’s not the most charismatic person that wins here, it’s the person who will go through the steps.

5) No one ever gives me anything

Maybe you feel that when you started your business, nobody gave you anything. No material to read, no manual on how to be a success. but that’s another lie because nobody in your business was ever given anything.

You should be proud that no one gave you anything and move forward no matter what.

6) If only, if only, if only

If only your company pays you more, if only you have a product that everyone actually wants to buy then you would be more successful. That is a lie. You keep on telling that to yourself and your customers will see through you.

“It’s a lie because people who are winning in your company are winning with the exact situation that you are complaining about. Everything’s the same, the only difference is they are not telling themselves a lie.”

7) Nobody helps me

to reach out a helping hand to you. But there will always be someone who will be more than willing to help and all you have to do is ask. Ask from your support team, your friends and family.

“If nobody helps you, you have every right to help yourself, to dive in and to grab all the same opportunity that everybody else does have and to reach up and find somebody who will help you.”

8) Nobody wants what I want

Then you just have to keep on looking and recruiting people until you find someone who wants the same things and results you want to get. They may be rare but they are out there, you just need to keep looking.

9) I missed my company’s momentum phase

You were not there when it started so you missed your big chance at success. And those are all false, you just have to make it work, make success happen.

“People join companies every single day, it doesn’t matter what company it is, and they make it happen.”

So those are the lies you might be telling yourself that just weigh you down according to Milletics, those are nothing, but excuses that you have been making so it would be okay for you to fail and you should forget them, don’t listen to them.

“If you’ve been telling yourself those lies, you have to make them go away and live in the truth. And the truth is, there is no end to the mountain, of things that you can accomplish, if only you believe in yourself and your ability to fly.”

These words of inspiration come from someone who has been in the industry for a long time and someone who definitely knows what she is talking about. If you are going to listen to a voice, it’s time to listen to Melanie Milletics’ voice of truth.
